This vegetated swale receives runoff from a vast parking area. The swale is planted with native facultative wetland plants that take up pollutants, infiltrate stormwater, and create a beautiful parking island. The swale is located at Mid-Jersey Orthopedic Center in Flemington, NJ. Photograph taken 9 months after installation.
